From the snow front of the resort, turn left above the station where the gondola lift leaves and then the chairlift, follow the sports trail. Behind the tennis courts, go up to the zip line and join a track that takes you to the start of the Col de Tortes path. Follow this path to the pass (signposted GR10). Go down into the Soulor valley a few hundred metres, then go back up to the left, a short but steep climb, to the Col d'Arbaze. Carry out a long level crossing in the grassy slopes which brings you to the orientation table (slight ascent) above the Col d'Aubisque (next to the antennas). Descent right from the ski lift, leave the shepherd's hut on your left, cross the road to Aubisque and take the opposite piste down to Aas. A long descent, dotted with a few small lifts, which leads by a few bends to the hamlet of Aas. Follow the asphalt road that descends to Les Eaux Bonnes. At the foot of the ascent towards the village, take the grassy path upstream from the road, cross the road and then again take a path that takes you around the village from above. It passes near kiosks, above the Bulle and joins the Promenade de l'Impératrice, until the start of the Coume d'Aas trail. Go up this track, pass near the hut of Bouy, go along the lake of Bézou and reach the top of the Bézou cable car. Go back down to Gourette by the slopes.
Itinerary information :
This trail ends at the top of the Bézou gondola. It is possible to finish the route on foot via the ski slopes to the base of the Gourette Welcome Centre.
The Trail Card, available at the Welcome Base, allows you to benefit from special rates for the gondola (and others...).
Through our practice, it is essential to respect the work of the farmers, other operators and owners who welcome us on their land :
So that the herds do not escape, close all the electric fences well and do not damage them!
Also, do not disturb the herds, greet the people you meet with a friendly "hello", and of course bring back all your rubbish! Do not cut routes through the meadows, and do not picnic either!
Tip: Download this route before you leave and let the Trail Running Resorts app guide you.
