Markets in Oisans (Circuits n°25)

From Allemond to La Grave, not forgetting Bourg d’Oisans or Alpe d’Huez, all over the region, producers turn out to display their local produce. There’s nothing nicer than strolling past the stalls, discovering the flavours and the arts and crafts of the area. Following the markets from day to day also means that you can take the time to explore the villages of Oisans, as well as putting together magnificent picnics and tasting locally made products throughout the valleys and along the picturesque roads. It is, however, the market at Bourg d’Oisans that stands out, drawing people from all the eighbouring valleys each Saturday of the year!
