Quai Eric Tabarly, 56 000 Vannes
On the northern side, the Rhuys peninsula draws the small sea of the Gulf of Morbihan, an immense body of water that holds many treasures. Many oyster farms can be discovered at the rhythm of the tides.
In kayaking, you will have a front row seat to get to know the oyster farming activity. The walk promises to be informative, especially if you encounter a Brent Goose, the emblem of the Gulf.
Near Saint-Armel, don't miss the Lasné salt marshes, which have been rehabilitated over the past ten years. On foot or by bike, you can walk between the pools and the carnations and, depending on the season, observe the precise work of the salt workers. Don't leave without your grain of salt!
Morbihan is a land of gastronomy and if the Rhuys peninsula was once supplied with vineyards, it is now full of original delicacies.
