Het Noords gebied van Auris bestaat uit een langlaufpiste van 8 km en 30 km wandelpaden die deel uitmaken van het groot skigebied van Alpe d'Huez.

The cross-country ski trail in Auris can be reached either by the Auris Express chairlift (for a fee) or directly from the resort on skis by the Col de Maronne (350m uphill climb). Cross-country skiers arrive at the ski trail named 'La Boucle de la Rochette', offering views of Alpe d'Huez. Walkers, with or without snow-shoes, can also use this trail (on a separate section), as well as the trails that go through the forest up to the Piegut summit.
