Departure from the car park of La Villette. Walk 50m in the direction of the centre of the hamlet and take the small road that goes down on your right. Head towards the foot of the La Vaujaniate ski slope to start the route. The route is on a groomed, marked and secure track. After about 1km of false rising flat, the gradient increases and remains constant until the arrival at the start of the Clos Giraud telemixte lift.
