This hike starts and finishes in the centre of Bourg d'Oisans, the main town in Oisans. Setting off towards Villard Reymond, walk up to the Col de Solude. You can then return to Bourg d'Oisans via the Col St Jean and the Tete de Fromentière, where you may encounter Nicolas, the shepherd.
