The organizers of the trail of the Bête de la Saint-Aubin finally had optimal weather conditions on Saturday evening, for the holding of their race. "After the snow in 2016, the rain and cold last year, we finally have the sun this year," commented the representatives of Gravity run expérience, the club that designed this original race. Indeed, it combines the sporting side with four sketches during which skeletons, witches, torches, priests come to pull the runners out of their concentration.
Among them, 73 lined up on the 32-kilometre course, which was started by the Mayor of Sourdon, Jacky Szyroki, delighted to see the population double in size for one evening. Since in the end, 660 people were at the start of the four race formats. Special mention should be made of the 9 kilometres which attracted 320 riders, compared to 257 on the 16 kilometres.
