TECHNICAL INFORMATION Starting point: Refuge de la Lavey Elevation gain: 604 m Total duration: 2 hours Distance: 2.5 km Level: Difficult ROUTE From the hut, the path leaves the bottom of the valley, climbing sharply up the east-facing slope. The path passes close to the Entre Pierroux glacier, before turning south to the Lac des Bêches overlooking the valley. DURING THE HIKE From the lake, there are uninterrupted views over the Tête des Fétoules, Les Rouies and the Olan. EXTRA INFO In early season, snow patches may remain at the top of the path. There is a warden in the hut from mid-June to mid-September.
