The Caudiès-de-Fenouillèdes base welcomes you in season from June 15 to September 15.
Documentation, advice and shower (municipal camping) are available. Departure of the Trail routes Chemin du Facteur, Gorges Saint-Jaume and Sentier des Grottes. The former viguerie du Fenouillèdes, Caudiès-de-Fenouillèdes is the starting point for the upper and forested part of the Fenouillèdes: vineyard paths, monotraces in the heart of the holm oak forests, stone quarries, caves, meadows and remarkable views.
A must see: the altarpiece of Notre-Dame de Laval and its polychrome wooden sculptures, the Château Saint-Pierre de Fenouillet and its two defensive towers, relics of the former border between the Kingdom of France and Arago, the first toll bridge in France (Col Saint-Louis spiral bridge), One of the caves of Roc Paradet (to be done with an approved guide), the Bugarach says the inverted mountain where your compasses will lose the North, the Fajas d'En Baillette, a remarkable beech tree over 500 years old, the panorama of the Balcon du Fenouillèdes in Prats-de-Sournia...
To do: taste the Chardonnay of Caudiès-de-Fenouillèdes in one of the cellars of the town, go horseback riding or rent mountain bikes at Castel Fizel, take a donkey ride in Prugnanes, take the tourist train to Axat or Rivesaltes, raft in Axat, taste the honey of Fenouillet and the ancient fruits and vegetables of Caudiès...

Saturdays and public holidays from 10am to 12.30pm.
July and August: Tuesday to Saturday from 9am to 12pm and from 3pm to 7pm.
Sunday from 9am to 1pm.
Closed on Mondays.
