The itinerary rises gently through the village by a path and a forest track. Once you reach the foot of the Oumbras (1769m), you will embark on a long traverse overlooking the Durance valley . The descent is then made in the middle of the Scots pines. Borrow a nice single which passes near the pink marble quarries of the Mounières combs. This is the same marble that was used to build the cathedral of Gap. Return to the village by a path that leads above the lake.
