Snow Trail - Pierre Mesure

Snowshoe trail open to trail on snow. The markings to follow are the snowshoe markings with "Snow Trail" buttons.


Departure from the Hameau de la Diat at the bottom of the station on the road to St Laurent du Pont (snowshoeing markings in place). Ascent by road to the gîte de Valombré in front of which you turn right towards the Charming Som, follow this direction until you reach the Granges de Pleynan where you turn left and go down towards the hamlet of Les Revols. On the road at the exit of Le Hameau turn right, the road loops and becomes a path. You cross a road that you cross straight down towards the hamlet of Les Marrons. Before this hamlet you reach the road (snow removal) which goes up to the doorway (caution!). At the exit of the hamlet of Les Marrons, after the campsite, take the road on the left towards the hamlet of La Martinière. At the entrance of this hamlet turn right, 200m after take a track on the left. The track ends in a meadow that it crosses (snowshoe beacons) The track goes down in bends and reaches the site of La Diat, continue straight ahead to reach your departure.



Through our practice, it is essential to respect the work of farmers, other operators and owners who welcome us on their land:

Do not cut routes across the prairies. Some routes use snowshoe routes, on which runners are welcome. On the other hand, for routes passing near cross-country ski slopes, it is strictly forbidden to use the groomed slopes.

To prevent herds from escaping, close all electric fences tightly (and do not damage them).

Also, don't disturb the herds, greet the people you meet with a friendly "hello", and of course bring back all your garbage! Do not cut routes across the prairies, do not picnic either!
