The definition of "Vertical Kilometre" is simple:
1000 meters of altitude difference over the shortest possible distance. 2 variants from La Diat (796m) to Le Bec de la Scia (1783m) for a 360° view.
The "LIGHT" course is more representative of a classic trail course. It is more playful, more wild, it is not adapted to tests, given the engagement of some passages. Be careful, this route includes vertiginous passages with cables. Do not use it in bad weather or in case of snowy terrain.
4 km 600
7 km 200
Marks are positioned every 100m of difference in altitude on the 2 courses, they serve as landmarks when you climb, or to carry out your training by splitting the climb.
Through our practice, it is essential to respect the work of farmers, other operators and owners who welcome us on their land:
Do not cut routes across the prairies (nor picnic or play ball, etc.) in what are known as forage harvesting areas,
To prevent herds from escaping, close all electric fences tightly (and do not damage them),
Also, don't disturb the herds, greet the people you meet with a friendly "hello", and of course bring back all your garbage! Do not cut routes across the prairies, do not picnic either!
